Meet the Team

Brandon Greenside

Hons. B.A., AACI, P.App.

Brandon is the founder and lead appraiser at Greenside Appraisals, bringing over 10 years of experience across all areas of property valuation. Holding the prestigious AACI designation, Brandon provides accurate, reliable, and in-depth appraisals and market analysis to every report, specializing in the commercial and investment markets.

Born and raised in London, Brandon has always been driven by teamwork and performance, values he honed during a hockey career that included time with the Chatham Maroons, London Knights, and Western Mustangs, followed by four years at the professional level within the United States and Europe. His passion for real estate also led him to become a licensed realtor, giving him unique insight into both the appraisal and property markets. 

Since 2015, Brandon has obtained expertise in the appraisal industry through both education and work experience. He completed his bachelor degree at Western University, followed by a Diploma in Urban Land and Economics from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of British Columbia. During his career, Brandon has completed a wide array of assignments that include multi family residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, special use, and development properties. In addition, he has also completed numerous property acquisition and disposal assignments for local cities, counties, and municipalities throughout Southwestern Ontario. 

Brandon combines professional expertise with a client focused approach, ensuring every appraisal is thorough, understandable, and tailored to each client’s needs.

Patrick J Greenside

B.A., AACI, P.App.

Patrick is an accredited real estate appraiser with over 45 years of experience. Based in Southwestern Ontario, he has distinguished himself as one of the leading real estate appraisers with expertise in negotiating on a wide assortment of unique and complex properties and specializes in easement and partial taking work for right of way and expropriation purposes, as well as valuation estimates as required under the Income and Excise Tax Acts.

Pat has provided expert testimony and opinion evidence at the Ontario’s Board of Negotiation and Assessment Review Board, as well as at the Tax Court of Canada for various real estate matters.

Patrick helped co-found Greenside Appraisals after working in the private sector and within all three levels of government, completing appraisal assignments for acquisition, disposal, leasing, taxation, and asset management purposes. Pat holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Western Ontario, as well as a Diploma in Real Estate Appraisal and Assessment from Fanshawe College. He is accredited though the Appraisal Institute of Canada as an AACI, and holds a Professional Appraiser certification as a Member in Good Standing of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He is also a member of the Ontario Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.

Kathy Murphy

CRA, P. App.

After years of mentoring with respected local appraisers, Kathy ventured on her own and established K. Murphy Real Estate Appraisal Services in 2013. Kathy has over 20 years of full-time residential appraisal experience with a CRA designation. As a professional Member in Good Standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada throughout her entire career, Kathy brings reliable valuations in the residential sector covering the vast majority of the Chatham-Kent area.

Born and raised in Chatham -Kent, she brings an experienced understanding of the Real Estate Market with over 25 years as a licensed Realtor. Working with professionalism, accuracy, and integrity have always been her standards. Clear communication and transparency with her clients are what has made her a trusted, successful partner in the industry. Kathy works with Lawyer’s, Lender’s, Broker’s and Private Individuals, all having various appraisal needs. She is also a member and volunteer at the Wallaceburg Branch 18 Legion.
